Eight people, including two police officers, were arrested in connection with a robbery at a storage facility in Bedfordview on Sunday.
Two officers from Florida police station were among eight people arrested in connection with a business robbery at a storage facility in Bedfordview, Ekurhuleni.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, officers responded to information about a group of people stealing and loading stock from a storage facility in the area.

Sibeko said investigations indicated that the group had fled from the scene in a Toyota one-tonne truck and two VW Polo vehicles.
“A coordinated police response, supported by the air wing, led to the interception of the suspects in the Zandspruit area, Honeydew,” Sibeko said.
“Among those arrested are two members of the South African Police Service stationed at Florida [police station].”
Police management in the province condemned the involvement of officers in criminal activities, and said that it undermined the integrity of the police force.
Sibeko said those who were arrested would face charges of business robbery and possession of stolen property.
