    Monday’s weather: Heatwave in Western Cape, Karoo; partly cloudy, cool to hot in rest of SA

    A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the western parts of the Namakwa District and the west/south-western parts of the Western Cape from Monday.

    The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of a heatwave this week in parts of the the Namakwa District and parts of the Western Cape tomorrow, which will spread to the Little and Central Karoo and parts of the Garden Route from Tuesday.

    Weather in the other provinces will be partly cloudy, cool, warm to hot with showers and thundershowers in parts.

    A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the western parts of the Namakwa District and the west/south-western parts of the Western Cape from Monday. It will spread to the Little Karoo, Central Karoo, and western parts of the Garden Route districts from Tuesday until Friday.
