The US Justice Department published additional FBI documents on Thursday describing interviews with a woman who said US President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her after she was introduced to him by Jeffrey Epstein.
The documents had not been made public under previous congressionally mandated file releases related to the late convicted sex offender because they were mistakenly marked “duplicative”, the department said.
Democrats are investigating the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
The documents released on Thursday include descriptions of multiple 2019 interviews the FBI held with the woman, who alleged she was assaulted by both Epstein and Trump while she was between 13 and 15 years old.
In one interview, the woman said Epstein took her to “either New York or New Jersey” and introduced her to Trump.

She told investigators that she bit Trump as he attempted to force her to perform oral sex on him.
The woman said she and individuals close to her received threatening calls over the years demanding she keep quiet from people who she believed were related to Epstein.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to the Epstein allegations, and the Justice Department previously said some of the documents it has released “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump”.
Democrats have accused the Trump administration of covering up details of the Epstein investigation that could negatively impact Trump.
On Wednesday, a House committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to answer questions about the Justice Department’s handling of the documents.

Reuters reported that FBI agents interviewed the woman four times in 2019 as part of their investigation into accused sex trafficker Epstein.
The Justice Department had previously released a log confirming that the interviews took place, but released a summary of only one of those four meetings, in which she accused Epstein of molesting her when she was a teenager.
The White House did not immediately respond to questions about the disclosures.
Politico, which first reported the disclosures, said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the woman’s claims “completely baseless accusations, backed by zero credible evidence”.
Trump has said his association with Epstein ended in the mid-2000s and that he was never aware of the financier’s sexual abuse.
Records previously released by the department show that Trump flew several times on Epstein’s plane in the 1990s, which Trump has denied.
After the financier was first accused of sexual misconduct, Trump called the police chief in Palm Beach to say that “everyone has known he’s been doing this,” according to an FBI interview record.
