A level-par 70 was enough to increase halfway leader Wyndham Clark’s advantage from four strokes to six, with the American heading into the final day on seven under as he looks to close out a wire-to-wire victory.
Clark faces a Sunday pairing with Scottie Scheffler, one of two players to post an under-par third round, with the world No 1 still in contention to claim the major required to complete the career Grand Slam.
