Virat Kohli is set to return to India’s team for the One Day International series against England in July.

The 37-year-old legendary batter missed this month’s ODI series against Afghanistan, which India won 3-0, due to injury but will make his return on their tour of England for the three ODI matches between July 14-19, subject to passing fitness checks.

Kohli, the second-highest run scorer in international cricket history, sustained a hamstring injury during his Royal Challengers Bengaluru side’s victory in the Indian Premier League final last month, when he hit an unbeaten 75.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been left out of the squad to face England despite his century in the third match against Afghanistan on Saturday.

Bowler Harshit Rana is set to make his return from injury.

The three ODIs take place at Edgbaston on July 14, Sophia Gardens on July 16 and Lord’s on July 19.
